Screw Type Oil Filter

The original wire mesh type oil filter fitted to the Mercedes-Benz cars of the 1950s made for a messy oil change and ineffient removal of harmful engine deposits.

Oldtimer Restoration Center manufactures an adapter allowing the use of a modern Mercedes-Benz screw on element filter. This product filters the oil to a smaller micron level than the original wire mesh unit. It also makes changing the oil on a 1950s series 300 an easy task.
